whoami#

As a decent millennial kid, one of my first adventures on the internet was playing Runescape. Here I adopted the alias erientes and I’m still holding on to it as of today. I used to disassembly my toys to figure out what the inside was like. Very interesting, especially anything that had electronics inside. (Luckily they used to be battery powered, the non-lithium ones…). Besides generating e-waste, I also was busy building tree houses or improvised floats. When I was about 10 years old, I was convinced it was time to become more professional and started using power tools to do some room renovation. Well, the shelves were hanging, but apparently I needed a lesson about a device called a bubble level…

Anyways, for the many years to come, the curious mindset and inner drive to create stuff was always there. These are personal traits on quite an abstract level, so it could manifest itself by deepdiving into some IT topic, but also by spending time learning about how to build an emergency shelter in the forrest (or bushcrafting in general). Just like the old days! Yeah, really, not much has changed, just developed! These days, I’m a freelancer in IT and also build theatre stages/festivals.
